Right after the False Flag attack of 9/11, America’s Constitutional Rights were gradually being stripped away from its citizens. People believed the lie and the propaganda that this was to keep them safe from more attacks. Then the Public Readiness and Emergency Preparedness Act (Prep Act) was signed in 2005, which was another unconditional act that Americans were willing to go along with.
In the spring of 2020, Americans were willingly stripped of all their 1st Amendment rights. The First Amendment to the United States Constitution prevents the government from making laws that regulate an establishment of religion, prohibit the free exercise of religion, or abridge the freedom of speech, the freedom of the press, the freedom of assembly, or the right to petition the government for redress of grievances.
The government learned in 2020 that they could take away every constitutional right from American citizens just by declaring a Health Emergency. In 2020 the American citizens proved to the corrupt government that they were correct.
All 50 State Governors Broke the Law in 2020
Every signal 1st Amendment right was taken away from Americans in the spring of 2020 and the public willingly complied with every lie they were told. Now that politicians see how easily Americans are willing to give up their rights when it comes to a Health Emergency, they see that this is the way to take away all our constitutional rights.
In the spring of 2020, every state governor broke the law by imposing illegal and unconstitutional mask mandates, forcing businesses, schools, and churches to close, nonsensical social distance guidelines, and not allowing people to assemble. Every one of the COVID restrictions was illegal and unconstitutional.
Americans willingly complied and allowed this to happen in the land of the free. After 3 and half years, Americans are now starting to wake up and will never allow this to ever happen again. There are many mainstream News headlines stating that American Gun Violence is now a public health emergency, therefore they can try to invoke emergency orders as they did in 2020.
New Mexico Governor Tried to Ban Guns
The New Mexico Governor tried to issue a 30-day ban on carrying guns in public in Albuquerque and the surrounding area. Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham signed an emergency order banning both open and concealed firearms in Albuquerque and Bernalillo County.
The Governor’s executive order was issued as a declaration of a public health emergency. I hope everyone reading this article knows by now that an executive order is not a law and has no legal standing for anyone to comply with it.
Governor Lujan Grisham stated that she has the power to take away your constitutional right because she has declared a health emergency. She said, “No constitutional right, not even her oath of office, is intended to be absolute.” Her executive order was issued by the New Mexico Department of Health (NMDOH) to keep it under the umbrella of a health emergency. The public is calling this unconstitutional, and this has set off a storm of backlash from all sides.
Sheriff Pushback to Governor’s Order
It did not take long for state officials to pushback, declaring they would not enforce the governor’s order. The Sheriff of Bernalillo County, John Allen, held a press conference in response to the governor’s unconstitutional gun ban.
The sheriff stated that his office would not be enforcing the governor’s order. He also stated that he took an oath to protect and uphold the Constitution, and that is exactly what he plans to do, uphold his oath of office and the Constitution.
Allen also stated that Gov. Lujan Grisham knew that law enforcement was not in favor of the ban, and openly discussed it with her. She did not take the Sheriff’s suggestions and advice and went ahead with the gun ban anyway.
Not only is the governor’s order unconstitutional, on the other hand, Allen said it would not keep his officers safe and would not help to reduce gun violence. His job is to help to keep the peace and keep everyone safe.
Allen states this order will not cut down on gun violence. This ban would only be harmful to law-abiding citizens. This ban would only take away a person’s right to protect themselves and their ability to defend themselves.
Attorney General Pushback to Governor’s Order
The Attorney General of New Mexico, Raúl Torrez, wrote a letter to the governor saying that he did not believe that the ban “will have any meaningful impact on public safety” and that his office would not defend her in cases that challenged the order.
Torrez also wrote, “I encourage you to engage in a more thoughtful and deliberative process with members of the New Mexico Legislature rather than taking unilateral action that infringes on the constitutional rights of law-abiding citizens.”
Torrez is taking a stand against the governor. In his letter to the governor he writes, “Though I recognize my statutory obligation as New Mexico’s chief legal officer to defend state officials when they are sued in their official capacity, my duty to uphold and defend the constitutional rights of every citizen takes precedence.”
In an interview, Torrez mentioned he believes “re-branding gun violence as a public health emergency” is not justified. He states, “From my perspective, it is an inappropriate application of the Public Health Emergency Act. To use that, the power, which is pretty extraordinary, but also very narrowly limited to public health emergencies to extend that to try and cover an outright ban on the carrying of weapons in Bernalillo County is, in my judgment, unconstitutional.”
Torrez continues, “I have a superseding obligation, a larger obligation to uphold the Constitution. I felt it was necessary to put my position in writing and inform her specifically that we wouldn’t be defending the action.”
Republicans and Democrats’ Pushback
The governor’s gun ban was swiftly met with pushback from Republicans and Democrats alike. Two Republican state representatives, Stefani Lord and John Block, called for Gov. Lujan Grisham to be impeached, saying that she had violated her oath to New Mexico and the nation.
Federal lawsuits, cries for impeachment, and outside protesting. Lujan Grisham said she would welcome a fight after announcing an emergency order to suspend the right to carry firearms in most public places. That’s exactly what she’s getting.
Since she issued the 30-day public health order, a furor has rained down from gun owners, gun advocate groups, state lawmakers on both sides and civil rights advocates. Even her own party questioned her decision.
A gun-rights group filed a federal lawsuit within 24 hours asking a court to block the order from taking effect, and other federal lawsuits followed. Critics denounced the order as an infringement on the 2nd Amendment of law-abiding citizens.
A Sheriff’s Duty is to Protect Our Rights
Sheriffs have the power to protect our constitutional rights. That is their duty. Many Sheriffs did stand up for our rights in 2020 with the illegal COVID mandates. Many Sheriffs refused to uphold any of the unconstitutional mandates and stood by their oath of office.
Personally, I went to my local county Sheriff’s office in January 2022 to give him a copy of the 205-page Fauci Dossier that was put together by Dr. David Martin, outlining all of Fauci’s documented crimes. My local Sheriff of Monroe County PA hid in his office and would not come out to speak to me. He refused to allow me to leave a copy of the dossier in his office. He is not a Sheriff who stands by his oath of office at all.

Judge Andrew Napolitano stated that a Sheriff would be well within their rights to arrest Gov. Lujan Grisham for violating the Constitution.
Federal Judge Puts a Freeze on Governor’s Gun Ban
Several individuals and groups had sued to block Lujan Grisham’s gun ban, and a federal judge sided with the plaintiffs, who argued that the suspension of gun rights violated the Constitution.
In his ruling, U.S. District Judge David Urias granted a temporary restraining order blocking Gov. Lujan Grisham’s ban on carrying guns in Albuquerque, on grounds it violated the U.S. Constitution.
The judge said the governor’s 30-day suspension of concealed and open firearm carry rights went against recent U.S. Supreme Court rulings and violated the rights of law-abiding citizens to defend themselves. “They just want the right to carry their guns,” Urias said of the several plaintiffs who requested restraining orders on Lujan Grisham’s emergency public health order.
Standing Up for Our Constitutional Rights
Law-abiding citizens do not cause gun violence. Criminals are the cause of gun violence, and no gun ban is going to prevent criminals from getting guns. This is simply common sense. All gun bans do is disarm law-abiding citizens, leaving them unprotected and not able to defend themselves from criminals and the tyrannical government.
I personally do not own a gun and will never own a gun. Nonetheless, anyone who wants to own a gun for their own protection has that right, granted to them by the 2nd Amendment. Americans will never allow their 2nd Amendment right to be trampled on. Not sure how they allowed their 1st Amendment rights to be taken away from them temporarily in 2020. However, that won’t happen again.
I am so happy to see that the citizens of New Mexico, Sheriff, State AG, and federal judge put a stop to this governor’s unconstitutional tyrannical gun ban quickly. The next thing I would love to see is her impeachment and arrest for violating the US Constitution and the abandoning of her oath of office.
