Thank you West Virginia! Before Donald Trump came out to speak at the Charleston rally in West Virginia the now US folklore song by John Denver, “Take Me Home Country Roads”, was playing and the crowd and Trump were singing along. “Almost heaven, West Virginia, Take Me Home Country Roads.” This post is aptly titled Take Trump Home Country Roads Thank You West Virginia. Take Trump Home Country Roads Thank You West Virginia Trump continues to successfully sweep across this nation and will not only meet the required 1237 delegates but will more than likely surpass it. Trump was talking to the crowd of 28,000 in West Virginia regarding the rigged election system and compared it to boxing. He said essentially that the system is rigged and needs to be fixed but at this stage in his run for the GOP nomination since he has for all intents and purposes clinched it, said that he does not care about the rigged elections at this moment. It’s like boxing he said, if you just knock out your opponent-just knock him out, you eliminate the judges. The crowd loved it and so did I. You can watch the speech here. John Denver Trump went on to acknowledge John Denver’s song Take Me Home Country Roads and mentioned that he and Denver were friends. That would not surprise me at all being a huge John Denver fan as I am, because John Denver cared very much for America and for humanity and devoted much of his life to such causes. Denver is missed.
